Montelukast EP Impurity I is chemically (2RS)-[1-[[[(1R)-1-[3-[(E)-2-(7-chloroquinolin-2-yl)ethenyl]phenyl]-3-[2-(1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl)phenyl]propyl]sulfanyl]methyl]cyclopropyl](hydroxy)acetic acid (as per EP) . It is also known as Montelukast alpha-Hydroxy Analog. Montelukast EP Impurity I is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Montelukast EP Impurity I can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Montelukast.
