Montelukast EP Impurity B is chemically [1-[[[(1R)-1-[3-[(E)-2-(7-Chloroquinolin-2-yl)ethenyl]phenyl]-3-[2-(1-methylethenyl)phenyl]propyl]sulfanyl]methyl]cyclopropyl]acetic acid (as per EP);[1-[[[(1R)-1-[3-[(E)-2-(7-Chloroquinolin-2-yl)ethenyl]phenyl]-3-[2-(1-methylethenyl)phenyl]propyl]sulfanyl]methyl]cyclopropyl]acetic acid (as per USP). It is also known as Montelukast Methylstyrene (USP) ; Montelukast Styrene. Montelukast EP Impurity B is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Montelukast EP Impurity B can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Montelukast.
