Montelukast 1,2-Diol is chemically 1-[1-[[[(1R)-1-[3-[(1E)-2-(7-Chloro-2-quinolinyl)ethenyl]phenyl]-3-[2-(1,2-diol-2-methyl ethyl)phenyl]propyl]thio]methyl]cyclopropane acetic acid. It is also known as Montelukast 1,2-Diol (Mixture of Diastereomers) ; 2-Hydroxy Montelukast. Montelukast 1,2-Diol is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Montelukast 1,2-Diol can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Montelukast.
