Montelukast EP Impurity D is chemically 1-[[[(1R)-1-[3-[(1R)-1-[[[1-(carboxymethyl)cyclopropyl]methyl]sulfanyl]-2-(7-chloroquinolin-2-yl)ethyl]phenyl]-3-[2-(1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl)phenyl]propyl]sulfanyl]methyl]cyclopropyl]acetic acid (as per EP); 1-[[[(1R)-1-[3-[(1R)-1-[[[1-(Carboxymethyl)cyclopropyl]methyl]sulfanyl]-2-(7-chloroquinolin-2-yl)ethyl]phenyl]-3-[2-(1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl)phenyl]propyl]sulfanyl]methyl]cyclopropyl]acetic acid (as per USP) . It is also known as Montelukast Michael Adduct (R,R)-Isomer (USP). Montelukast EP Impurity D is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Montelukast EP Impurity D can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Montelukast.
