Diltiazem HCl is chemically Hydrochloride of (2S,3S)-5-[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1,5-benzothiazepin-3-yl acetate (as per EP) ; 1,5-Benzothiazepin-4(5H)-one, 3-(acetyloxy)-5-[2-(dimethyl amino)ethyl]-2,3-dihydro-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-, monohydrochloride, (+)-cis- (as per USP). Diltiazem HCl is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Diltiazem HCl can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Diltiazem.
