Diltiazem EP Impurity C is chemically (2S,3S)-5-[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1,5-benzothiazepin-3-yl acetate hydrochloride (as per EP & USP). It is also known as Diltiazem USP Related Compound C ; O-Desmethyl Diltiazem HCl. Diltiazem EP Impurity C is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Diltiazem EP Impurity C can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Diltiazem.
