Amoxicillin EP Impurity B is chemically (2S,5R,6R)-6-[[(2S)-2-Amino-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetyl]amino]-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-2-carboxylic acid ( As per EP) ; (2S,5R,6R)-6-[(S)-2-Amino-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetamido]-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-2-carboxylic acid. (As per USP). It is also known as Amoxicillin USP Related Compound B ; L-Amoxicillin. Amoxicillin EP Impurity B is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Amoxicillin EP Impurity B can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Amoxicillin.
