Budesonide Impurity 4 is chemically (6aR,6bS,7S,8aS,8bS,11aR,12aS,12bS)-7,10-Dihydroxy-6a,8a-dimethyl-1,2,6a,6b,7,8,8a,8b,11a,12,12a,12b-dodecahydro-4H-naphtho[2',1':4,5]indeno[2,1-b]furan-4,9(10H)-dione. It is also known as 16,21-cyclic hemiacetal of 17-deoxyprednisolone. Budesonide Impurity 4 is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Budesonide Impurity 4 can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Budesonide.
