Pseudomonic acid E is chemically 11-{(E)-4-[(2S,3R,4R,5S)-3,4-Dihydroxy-5-({(2S,3S)-3-[(2S,3S)-3-hydrox-ybutan-2-yl]oxiran-2-yl}methyl)tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl]-3-methylbut-2-enoyloxy}undecanoic acid (as per USP). Pseudomonic acid E is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Pseudomonic acid E can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Mupirocin.
