Pitavastatin Lactone  is chemically (4R,6S)-6-((E)-2-(2-Cyclopropyl-4-(4-fluorophenyl)quinolin-3-yl)vinyl)-4-hydroxytetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-one;(4R,6S,E)-6-[2-[2-Cyclopropyl-4-(4-fluorophenyl) quinolin-3-yl] vinyl] tetrahydro-4-hydroxypyran-2-one. It is also known as Nisvastatin. Pitavastatin Lactone  is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Pitavastatin Lactone  can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Pitavastatin.
