5-Oxo-Pitavastatin Methyl Ester is chemically Methyl (R,E)-7-(2-cyclopropyl-4-(4-fluorophenyl)quinolin-3-yl)-3-hydroxy-5-oxohept-6-enoate. It is also known as Pitavastatin (5R)-Oxo-Impurity. 5-Oxo-Pitavastatin Methyl Ester is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. 5-Oxo-Pitavastatin Methyl Ester can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Pitavastatin.
