Piperacillin Sodium salt is chemically (2S,5R,6R)-6-[(2R)-2-(4-Ethyl-2,3-dioxopiperazine-1-carboxamido)-2-phenylacetamido]-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-2-carboxylic acid Sodium salt (as per EP); (2S,5R,6R)-6-[(R)-2-(4-Ethyl-2,3-dioxo-1-piperazinecarboxamido)-2-phenylacetamido]-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-2-carboxylic acid Sodium salt (as per USP). Piperacillin Sodium salt is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline.
