Atazanavir EP Impurity D is chemically (2S,3S)-3-Amino-4-phenyl-1-[(E)-1-[[4-(pyridin-2-yl)phenyl]methyl]-2-[[4-(pyridin-2-yl)phenyl]methylidene]hydrazin-1-yl]butan-2-ol (as per EP) ; (2S,3S)-3-Amino-4-phenyl-1-{1-[4-(pyridin-2-yl)benzyl]-2-[4-(pyridin-2-yl)benzylidene]hydrazinyl}butan-2-ol (as per USP). It is also known as Atazanavir Benzylidenehydrazine Analog (USP). Atazanavir EP Impurity D is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Atazanavir EP Impurity D can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Atazanavir.
