Aprepitant is chemically 5-[[(2R,3S)-2-[(1R)-1-[3,5-Bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]ethoxy]-3-(4-fluorophenyl)morpholin-4-yl]methyl]-1,2-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-one (as per EP) ; (3-[[(2R,3S)-2-[(R)-1-[3,5-Bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]ethoxy]-3-(4-fluorophenyl)morpholino]methyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5(4H)-one (as per USP). It is also known as (1R,2R,3S)-Aprepitant ; Aprepitantum . Aprepitant is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Aprepitant can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Aprepitant.
