Aciclovir EP Impurity K is chemically 2,2′-(Methylenediazanediyl)bis[9-[(2-hydroxyethoxy)methyl]-1,9-dihydro-6H-purin-6-one] (as per EP) ; Bis({9-[(2-hydroxyethoxy)methyl]guanine}-N2-yl)methane (as per USP). It is also known as Bis-Acyclovir (USP) ; Valaciclovir EP Impurity L ; Acyclovir N-Methylene Dimer. Aciclovir EP Impurity K is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Aciclovir EP Impurity K can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Aciclovir.
