Zolmitriptan EP Impurity C is chemically (4S,4′S)-4,4′-[[4-(Dimethylamino)butane-1,1-diyl]bis[[3-[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]-1H-indole-2,5-diyl]methylene]]bis(1,3-oxazolidin-2-one) (as per EP) ; 2,2′-[4-(Dimethylamino)butane-1,1-diyl]bis{5-[(S)-(2-oxooxazolidin-4-yl)methyl]-3-(2-dimethylaminoethyl)indole} (as per USP). It is also known as Zolmitriptan USP Related Compound F ; Zolmitriptan Dimer Impurity; . Zolmitriptan EP Impurity C is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Zolmitriptan EP Impurity C can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Zolmitriptan.
