Zolmitriptan is chemically (4S)-4-[[3-[2-(Dimethylamino)ethyl]-1H-indol-5-yl]methyl]-1,3-oxazolidin-2-one (as per EP) ; (S)-4-({3-[2-(Dimethylamino)ethyl]indol-5-yl}methyl)oxazolidin-2-one (as per USP). Zolmitriptan is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Zolmitriptan can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Zolmitriptan.
