Piperacillin EP Impurity S is chemically (2S,5R,6R)-6-[(2S,5R,6R)-6-[(2R)-2-(4-ethyl-2,3-dioxopiperazine-1-carboxamido)-2-phenylacetamido]-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-2-carboxamido]-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-2-carboxylic acid (as per EP). It is also known as Piperacillin penicillamide. Piperacillin EP Impurity S is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Piperacillin EP Impurity S can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Piperacillin.
