Piperacillin EP Impurity K is chemically (2Ξ)-2-[[(E)-[2-[(R)-[(4-ethyl-2,3-dioxopiperazine-1-carboxamido)phenylmethyl]-5-oxo-1,3-oxazol-4(5H)-ylidene]methyl]amino]-3-methyl-3-sulfanylbutanoic acid (penicillenic acid) (as per EP). Piperacillin EP Impurity K is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Piperacillin EP Impurity K can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Piperacillin.
