Cefazolin 3-Hydroxymethyl (USP) is chemically (6R,7R)-7-(2-(1H-Tetrazol-1-yl)acetamido)-3-(hydroxymethyl)-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid (as per USP). Cefazolin 3-Hydroxymethyl (USP) is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Cefazolin 3-Hydroxymethyl (USP) can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Cefazolin.
