Almotriptan is chemically N,N-Dimethyl-2-[5-[(pyrrolidine-1-sulfonyl)methyl]-1H-indol-3-yl]ethan-1-amine (as per EP) ; 1-[({3-[2-(Dimethylamino)ethyl]indol-5-yl}methyl)sulfonyl]pyrrolidine (as per USP). Almotriptan is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Almotriptan can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Almotriptan.
