Anastrozole EP Impurity C is chemically 2,2′-[5-(Bromomethyl)benzene-1,3-diyl]bis(2-methylpropanenitrile) (as per EP) ; 2,2′-(5-(Bromomethyl)-1,3-phenylene)bis(2-methylpropionitrile) (as per USP). It is also known as 5-Bromomethyl Anastrozole (USP) ; Anastrozole Monobromo Impurity. Anastrozole EP Impurity C is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Anastrozole EP Impurity C can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Anastrozole.
