Ceftazidime Pentahydrate is chemically (6R,7R)-7-[[(2Z)-2-(2-Aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-[(1-carboxy-1-methylethoxy)imino]acetyl]amino]-8-oxo-3-[(pyridin-1-ium-1-yl)methyl]-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylate pentahydrate (as per EP); [6R[6α,7β(Z)]]-1-[[(6R,7R)-7-[2-(2-Amino-4-thiazolyl)glyoxylamido]-2-carboxy-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-en–3-yl]methyl]pyridinium hydroxide, inner salt, 72-(Z)-[O(1-carboxy-1-methylethyl)oxime], pentahydrate (as per USP). Ceftazidime Pentahydrate is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Ceftazidime Pentahydrate can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Ceftazidime pentahydrate.
