Captopril EP Impurity A is chemically 1,1′-[Disulfanediylbis[(2S)-2-methyl-1-oxopropane-3,1-diyl]]bis[(2S)-pyrrolidine-2-carboxylic] acid (as per EP) ; (2′S)-[(2S,2′S)-3,3′-Disulfanediylbis(2-methylpropanoyl)]di-l-proline (as per USP). It is also known as Captopril Disulphide (EP & USP). Captopril EP Impurity A is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline.
