Sorbic Acid is chemically (E,E)-Hexa-2,4-dienoic acid (as per EP) ; (2E,4E)-Hexa-2,4-dienoic acid (as per USP). Sorbic Acid is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Sorbic Acid can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Sorbic Acid.
