Rifamycin S

Rifamycin S is chemically [(2S,12Z,14E,16S,17S,18R,19R,20R,21S,22R,23S,24E)-5,17,19-trihydroxy-23-methoxy-2,4,12,16,18,20,22-heptamethyl-1,6,9,11-tetraoxo-1,2-dihydro-2,7-(epoxypentadeca[1,11,13]trienazano)naphtho[2,1-b]furan-21-yl acetate. It is also known as rifamycin S. Rifamycin S is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Rifamycin S can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Rifamycin.
