Prasugrel EP Impurity D is chemically Mixture of (7aR)-5-[(1RS)-2-cyclopropyl-1-(2-fluorophenyl)-2-oxoethyl]-5,6,7,7a-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridin-2(4H)-one and (7aS)-5-[(1RS)-2-cyclopropyl-1-(2-fluorophenyl)-2-oxoethyl]-5,6,7,7a-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridin-2(4H)-one (as per EP) ; 5-[2-Cyclopropyl-1-(2-fluorophenyl)-2-oxoethyl]-5,6,7,7a-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridin-2(4H)-one (as per USP). It is also known as Prasugrel USP Related Compound D ; Desacetyl prasugrel diastereomer (USP) ; Prasugrel Thiolactone.
