Open-Ring Desulfated Aztreonam (USP) is chemically (2S,3S)-3-Amino-2-{(Z)-2-[2-aminothiazol-4-yl]-2-[2-carboxypropan-2-yloxyimino]acetamido}butanoic acid (as per USP). It is also known as open-ring desulfated aztreonam. Open-Ring Desulfated Aztreonam (USP) is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline.
