Emtricitabine Impurity 9 is chemically Cyclohexanol, 5-methyl-2-(1-methylethyl)-, [1R-(1α,2β,5β)]-; Menthol, (1S,3R,4S)- (8CI); (1R,2S,5S)-5-Methyl-2-(1-methylethyl)cyclohexanol. It is also known as (-)-Isomenthol. Emtricitabine Impurity 9 is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Emtricitabine Impurity 9 can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Emtricitabine.
