Desogestrel EP Impurity D is chemically 13-Ethyl-17-hydroxy-11-methylidene-18,19-dinor-17α-pregn-4-en-20-yn-3-one (as per EP); 13-Ethyl-11-methylene-18,19-dinor-17alpha-pregn-4-en-20-yn-17-ol-3-one (as per USP). It is also known as Desogestrel USP Related Compound C ; 3-Ketodesogestrel ; Etonogestrel. Desogestrel EP Impurity D is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline.
