Deferasirox is chemically 4-[3,5-Bis(2-hydroxyphenyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl]benzoic acid (as per EP). Deferasirox is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Deferasirox can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Deferasirox.
