Benazepril Hydrochloride EP Impurity C is chemically (2S)-2-[[(3S)-1-(Carboxymethyl)-2-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-1-benzazepin-3-yl]amino]-4-phenylbutanoic acid (as per EP) ; (S)-2-{[(S)-1-(Carboxymethyl)-2-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-benzo[b]azepin-3-yl]amino}-4-phenylbutanoic acid (as per USP).
