Algestone is chemically (16α)-16,17-Dihydroxypregn-4-ene-3,20-dione ; 16α,17α-Dihydroxypregn-4-ene-3,20-dione ; 4-Pregnen-16α,17α-diol-3,20-dione. It is also known as 16α,17α-Dihydroxyprogesterone ; Alfasone ; Algestone ; Alphasone. Algestone is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Algestone can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Algestone.
