Zoledronic Acid EP Impurity B is chemically 1,3-Bis(2-hydroxy-2,2-diphosphonoethyl)-1H-imidazol-3-ium (as per EP) ; (1-Hydroxy-2-[1-(2-hydroxy-2,2-diphosphonoethyl)-1H-imidazol-3-ium-3-yl]-1-phosphonoethylphosphonate) (as per USP). It is also known as Zoledronic Acid USP Related Compound B. Zoledronic Acid EP Impurity B is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline.
