Paroxol is chemically (3S,4R)-trans-(-)-4-(4-Fluorophenyl)-3-hydroxymethyl-1-methylpiperidine. It is also known as Paroxetine (3S,4R)-N-Methyl Paroxol Impurity. Paroxol is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Paroxol can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Paroxetine.
