Norfloxacin EP Impurity E (2HCl salt) is chemically 7-Chloro-1-ethyl-4-oxo-6-(piperazin-1-yl)-1,4-dihydroquinoline-3-carboxylic acid dihydrochloride (as per EP). It is also known as Norfloxacin USP Related Compound E ; Norfloxacin HCl 7-Chloro Analog. Norfloxacin EP Impurity E (2HCl salt) is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Norfloxacin EP Impurity E (2HCl salt) can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Norfloxacin.
