Mometasone Furoate is chemically 9,21-Dichloro-11β-hydroxy- 16α-methyl-3,20-dioxopregna-1,4-dien-17-yl furan-2-carboxylate (as per EP); (9,21-Dichloro-11β,17-dihydroxy-16α-methylpregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione 17-(2-furoate) (as per USP). It is also known as Mometasone 17-(2-furoate). Mometasone Furoate is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Mometasone Furoate can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Mometasone .
