Ethinylestradiol EP Impurity G is chemically 3,17-Dihydroxy-19-nor-17α-pregna-1,3,5(10)-trien-20-yn-6-one (as per EP); 19-Nor-17α-pregna-1,3,5(10)-trien-20-yne-3,17-diol-6-one (as per USP). It is also known as Ethinyl Estradiol USP Related Compound A ; 6-oxo-ethinylestradiol.
