Atovaquone EP Impurity B is chemically 2-[cis-4-(4-chlorophenyl)cyclohexyl]-3-hydroxynaphthalene-1,4-dione (as per EP) ; cis-2-[4-(4-Chlorophenyl)cyclohexyl]-3-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone (as per USP). It is also known as Cis-Atovaquone, Atovaquone USP Related Compound A. Atovaquone EP Impurity B is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline.
