21-Dehydrocortisone is chemically 2-((8S,9S,10R,13S,14S,17R)-17-Hydroxy-10,13-dimethyl-3,11-dioxo-2,3,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17-tetradecahydro-1H-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-17-yl)-2-oxoacetaldehyde. 21-Dehydrocortisone is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. 21-Dehydrocortisone can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Hydrocortisone.
