Colchicine EP Impurity E is chemically N-[(7S,12aM)-3-Hydroxy-1,2,10-trimethoxy-9-oxo-5,6,7,9-tetrahydrobenzo[a]heptalen-7-yl]acetamide (as per EP). It is also known as 3-Desmethylcolchicine.
