Ceftazidime EP Impurity E is chemically (6R,7R)-7-[[(2Z)-2-(2-Aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-[[2-(1,1-dimethylethoxy)-1,1-dimethyl-2-oxoethoxy]imino]acetyl]amino]-8-oxo-3-[(pyridin-1-ium-1-yl)methyl]-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylate (as per EP). It is also known as Ceftazidime t-Butyl Ester. Ceftazidime EP Impurity E is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Ceftazidime EP Impurity E can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Ceftazidime pentahydrate.
