Lansoprazole EP Impurity B is chemically 2-[[[3-Methyl-4-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)pyridin-2-yl]methyl]sulfonyl]-1H-benzimidazole (as per EP). It is also known as Lansoprazole USP Related Compound A ; Lansoprazole Sulfone. Lansoprazole EP Impurity B is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Lansoprazole EP Impurity B can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Lansoprazole.
