Formoterol EP Impurity B Fumarate is chemically N-[2-Hydroxy-5-[(1RS)-1-hydroxy-2-[[2-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl]amino]ethyl]phenyl]formamide fumaric acid (as per EP); N-(2-Hydroxy-5-{1-hydroxy-2-[(4-methoxyphenethyl)amino]ethyl}phenyl)formamide Fumaric acid (as per USP). It is also known as Desmethyl formoterol (USP). Formoterol EP Impurity B Fumarate is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Formoterol EP Impurity B Fumarate can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Formoterol.
