Acetophenone is chemically Phenylethanone (as per USP) ; Phenyl Methyl Ketone (as per USP). It is also known as 1-Phenylethanone ; 1-Feniletanone ; 1-Phenyl-1-ethanone ; 1-Phenylethanone ; Acetylbenzene ; Hypnon ; Hypnone ; Methyl Phenyl Ketone. Acetophenone is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Acetophenone can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Acetophenone.
