Emtricitabine Impurity 7 is chemically [1S-(1a,2b,5b)]-5-Methyl-2-(1-methylethyl)cyclohexanol; (1R,3S,4R)-(+)-Menthol; (1S,2R,5R)-(+)-Isomenthol. It is also known as (+)-Isomenthol ; d-Isomenthol. Emtricitabine Impurity 7 is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Emtricitabine Impurity 7 can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Emtricitabine.
