Emtricitabine Impurity (2,3'-dideoxy-5-fluoro-3-thiouridine) is chemically (2S-cis)-5-Fluoro-1-[2-(hydroxymethyl)-1,3-oxathiolan-5-yl]-2,4(1H,3H)-pyrimidinedione; 5-Fluoro-1-[(2S,5R)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-1,3-oxathiolan-5-yl]-2,4(1H,3H)-pyrimidinedione; 5-Fluoro-3’-thia-2’,3’-dideoxyuridine; 2,3'-dideoxy-5-fluoro-3-thiouridine.
