Dexmedetomidine hydrochloride is chemically (S)-4-(1-(2,3-dimethylphenyl)ethyl)-1H-imidazole hydrochloride. It is also known as Medetomidine (S)-Isomer. Dexmedetomidine hydrochloride is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Dexmedetomidine hydrochloride can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Medetomidine.
