Acitretin EP Impurity B is chemically Ethyl (2E,4E,6E,8E)-9-(4-methoxy-2,3,6-trimethylphenyl)-3,7-dimethylnona-2,4,6,8-tetraenoate (as per EP); Ethyl (all-E)-9-(4-methoxy-2,3,6-trimethylphenyl)-3,7-dimethylnona-2,4,6,8-tetraenoate (as per USP). It is also known as Acitretin USP Related Compound B ; Etretinate ; Ethyl etrinoate. Acitretin EP Impurity B is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Acitretin EP Impurity B can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Acitretin.
