Acarbose EP Impurity G is chemically α-D-Glucopyranosyl O-4,6-dideoxy-4-[[(1S,4R,5S,6S)-4,5,6-trihydroxy-3-(hydroxymethyl)cyclohex-2-enyl]amino]-α-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-α-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-α-D-glucopyranoside (as per EP & USP). It is also known as α-d-glucopyranosyl α-acarboside ; Acarbose USP Impurity G. Acarbose EP Impurity G is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Acarbose EP Impurity G can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Acarbose.
